“Business as Usual”

You may have heard that Emco Corporation signed an agreement October 26, 2018 to acquire Kotyck Bros. in Mississauga and Brampton.

Although Kotyck Bros. is now a part of the Emco family, we want to assure our customers and suppliers that it is business as usual – we will continue to offer our experience, knowledge, and expert service to our clients in Mississauga and Brampton.

Our personnel in each location remains unchanged. The business will operate independently and continue to build on its rich history and superior customer service.

Kotyck Bros. is currently under the leadership of Michael Kotyck. After the transaction is scheduled to close, on November 30, 2018, Michael will remain with the business in a consulting role for three months to help transition the business. Brandon Ridgewell from Westlund will be working closely with Michael during this transition.

Kotyck Bros. was started in Toronto in 1947 by George Kotyck and his three brothers, Sam, Nick, and John. The business subsequently relocated to Mississauga and expanded to Brampton.

Kotyck Bros. provides industrial, plumbing, heating, and hydraulic solutions to contractors, manufacturers, maintenance personnel, and distributors, including in the automotive, manufacturing, consumer product, food, pharmaceutical, public utility, construction, and mechanical systems industries.
